About L.O.H. Tax Group

LOH is a family owned and operated business serving small and mid-sized businesses in Northern Indiana with their bookkeeping, payroll, QuickBooks, and tax needs. In 1976, LaMar Hochstetler set out to provide quality accounting and bookkeeping services in his hometown of Milford, IN. Today, this second generation firm, run by LaMar’s sons Matt and John, has expanded to serve hundreds of small businesses in Northern Indiana, including Elkhart, LaGrange, Kosciusko, Marshall, and St. Joseph Counties.

The core values at L.O.H. Tax Group remain the same today as they were in 1976: to provide high quality, personal attention to each of our clients. We are honored to have clients that have been with us for over 20 years. Our goal is to help you with your bookkeeping, taxes, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and QuickBooks needs.

LOH is a member in good standing of the Nappanee Chamber of Commerce, National Society of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), Indiana Society of Enrolled Agents (INEA), National Society of Accountants (NSA), as well as the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) and the National Advisor Network (NAN). All of the staff at LOH have completed extensive educational courses to keep up-to-date on tax law changes and tax planning opportunities for clients as well as the latest features in QuickBooks and accounting software.

About Matt Hochstetler, EA

Matt Hochstetler, Enrolled Agent (EA) and Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, joined the family business in 2001 and specializes in the daily financial operations of his small to mid-range business clients. He especially enjoys the challenge of cleaning up QuickBooks files for clients so that the financial information is accurate and reliable for decision-making purposes. He also loves to find ways to help clients streamline their accounting procedures so they can save money and manage their business better.

Matt works with clients in construction, automotive, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, and nonprofit. Recent projects include finding third-party applications to increase the functionality of the QuickBooks software and streamlining a client’s invoicing system.

Matt is an Enrolled Agent, which is a federally licensed tax practitioner who specialize in taxation and also has unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Enrolled agents (EAs) are America’s Tax Experts. When Matt is not working, he enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and traveling.

About John Hochstetler, EA

John Hochstetler, Enrolled Agent (EA) and Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, joined the family business in 2008 and completes most of the individual tax returns during tax season along with providing year-round bookkeeping services to clients. For his bookkeeping clients, he takes care of the accounts payables, accounts receivables, and invoicing.

John earned his Enrolled Agent designation in 2014. When he is not working he enjoys just about anything outdoors: landscape projects, motorcycle riding, camping, and canoeing.

About Myron Yutzy

Myron Yutzy, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, joined LOH Bookkeeping in 2013. He provides tax preparation, bookkeeping, and payroll services to clients. He is working on his Enrolled Agent designation.

Myron earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business with a focus on accounting from Indiana University South Bend. When he is not working, he enjoys fishing and camping and is an avid follower of sports and harness racing.
